The cave was inhabited from Palaeolithic to Bronze Age. Archaeologists found artifacts from around 30.000 BCE. 30 Bronze Age human skeletons have been found as well in this cave. In the Hyaenenhoehlen caves (in the nearby) parts of bronze melting furnaces have been found.
