The two stones are not in their original position as they are believed to have come from the remains of a passage grave from the Neolithic that was found during the 1930s under the street and houses just a few metres further down the road. These two stones were removed from that location and then placed in their current position for unknown reasons. The remaining stones from the tomb were sold to stonemasons.
