Ancient Settlement in Henan Province.
Large settlement site of the Longshan Culture. More than 100 stone knives, stone sickles, ceramic vessels and bone arrowheads dating from the late were excavated.

The initially explored ruins covered an area of more than 2,900 square meters in an plot of land 300 meters long and 200 meters wide.

The Longshan Culture was a late Neolithic culture in China with highly developed ceramics, including the use of ceramic wheels. It was based around the central and lower Yellow River and dated from about 3,000 B.C. to 2,000 B.C.

The location listed is general for the city and does not reflect the excavation site location.

Large settlement sites of late primitive society were excavated recently after nearly seven months of archaeological excavations in Luoyang city, a historical city in central China.

The initially explored ruins covered an area of more than 2,900 square meters in an plot of land 300 meters long and 200 meters wide.

More than 100 stone knives, stone sickles, ceramic vessels and bone arrowheads dating from the late Longshan Culture were excavated.
