Räther Menhir
Räther Menhir submitted by Martin_L : The nice menhir Langer Stein/"Menhir von Räther""/"Der Bauer" in 2019. Clear size approx. 1,5m. Nevertheless it is impressive due to its commanding location in the landscape. It can be seen from quite a distance. Though various 'modern implements' close to the menhir (compare other photos) do not interfere with the ambience in a good way. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Räther Menhir submitted by Martin_L : Nothing against benches, tables, garbage cans and information boards, but in this case they are placed in quite intrusive ways. Without these items so close beside the menhir the ambience would be quite nice. The site in May 2019. In the meantime the roof of the bench/table has seemingly been removed.
