Sangershausen Menhir
Sangershausen Menhir submitted by Martin_L : This Menhir has been (ab)used as signpost in historic times as the faded paint indicates. It shows also some interesting depressions. The ambience is quite depressing at any rate. To add to this the modern street signs have been placed just beside the Menhir. Anyway apart from the ugly surroundings, it is a really beautiful menhir.
