CharcoalBurner89 visited on 29th Aug 2022 - their rating: Cond: 3 Amb: 1 Access: 5 The cups are clearly visible and can also be felt very well. Unfortunately, due to the stone itself, they don't come into 'magic' like on the other photos right now.
Martin_L visited on 14th Mar 2012 - their rating: Cond: 3 Amb: 3 Access: 5 The stone is not situ. The cup-marks mainly face to the east. Due to this and the tree growth situation there has been no time of day where sunlight would enhance the visibility of the carvings.

Schalenstein (cup marked stone) near Drethem. The stone was found by a farmer in 1968. Somebody counted 44 marks scattered over one side of the stone. The stone was brought to a place near the road from Drethem to Hitzacker.A very inappropiate place. And, in my oppinion, it should have been placed with the marks showing upwards.That would have been, most likely, closer to the original position.
