Ancient Settlement in Russia

The oldest Paleolithic settlement Malta - Buret'
Settlement lot was opened in the year 1927. Located on the banks of the River (a tributary of the Angara River, which flows into the Yenisei), 100 km northwest of Irkutsk and Lake Baikal.

Settlement is well researched, archaeological excavations have yielded a large number of unique finds.

Age found items from 15 to 25 thousand years BC, respectively, on the basis of this set approximate period of settlement.

Malta consists of the underground houses, as in other northern settlements, using large animal bones, as well as deer antlers and hides of animals.
