Standing Stones in Melaka, Malaysia. A cluster of about 20 standing stones located on an earthen mound several meters from the road. Locals call them Batu Hidup (Living Stones) or Batu Bercahaya (Glittering Stones).

Over 500 similar sites exist within 100km of this one.

Melaka submitted by Martin_Carvalho : Melaka, Malaysia The three mysterious megaliths of Pengkalan Kempas are about seven feet in height. They are carved with motifs which include a unicorn, a peacock, a fish, a lotus looking flower or a phallic symbol and a snake. The stones also have a solar disc symbol and wavy patterns engraved on them. These are the only stones in the area that have carvings on. (Vote or comment on this photo)
