Ancient Village or Settlement in Thailand

The UNESCO world heritage town of Ayutthaya became the second siamese capital after Sukhothai. It was founded in the 14th century. It was destroyed by the Burmese Army in 1767. The main attractions are the ruins of the Wat Phra Sri Sanphet temple, the ruins of the Wat Mahathat temple, the ruins of the Wat Ratchaburana temple etc. For more information see:
