Standing Stone (Menhir) in Nord-Trøndelag
This standing stone is just next to a fence surrounding a private garden and just next to a local road. The area around is filled with tree branches, cut grass and other garden garbage and the lower part of the stone is covered, making the stone looks smaller than it actually is.
The stone is 2,3 metres in height and 50cm wide and thick, it has a rectangular cross section and a pointy top. The stone was previously laying down but was set up again in 1920. Previously there were some burial cairns around the stone but these have been lost in later years.
