Barrow Cemetery in Tunisia
The remains of the ancien Punic city of carthage is spread out over a half dozen sites among luxury villas in this wealthy subburb of modern Tunis.
The Punic tombs are located at the site for the Roman Antonine Baths (Antoninus Pius) at the Beach, also next to the modern presidential palace.
This site consists of sarcophogi fashioned from smaller stones cemented together.
