The cemetery consists of at least 22 round barrows but there is probably many more barrows here hidden under high vegetation and thick forest. Parts of the cemetery were actually discovered in 1992 after a storm had broken down many trees and made the site more open. The cemetery is located on a long outstretched ridge going north east to south west.
Some parts of the cemetery is inside a thick leaf forest and is very hard to find but some large barrows are in a pine forest with low forest floor vegetation and is much easier to find. Some of these barrows are on a hill to the south west in the cemetery.
The largest barrows are from 15 to 11 metres in diameter and from 2 to 1 metre in height while the rest of the known round barrows are from 8 to 5 metres in diameter. The smallest barrows can be difficult to find. I hope that this extensive barrow cemetery can be cleared of the forest someday so it can be observed for real!
