Musee du Bardo
Musee du Bardo submitted by AlexHunger : The Musee du bardo prides itself for having the world's largest collection of Mosaics. It also has other artifacts from the Roman and Punic era. Here the coronation of Ariadne. (Vote or comment on this photo)
The museum is housed in the former palace of the King of Tunisia, who was deposed after independence from French colonial rule.

Some of the artefacts from Carthage are held here. The museum also has the largest collection of Roman mosaics taken from all over Tunisia.

The ancient Punic city of Carthage is spread out over a half dozen sites among luxury villas in a wealthy suburb of modern Tunis.

Note: 23 killed in Tunisian museum atrocity, including two museum workers and visitors from Japan, Italy, France, Britain, Belgium, Poland, Columbia, Australia, Spain and locally.
