Menhir n°2 de Targassonne submitted by LaDragonne : Menhir couché sur un muret de séparation chemin pâture (Vote or comment on this photo)
Standing Stone (Menhir) in France

This granite standing stone, now eroded, stands 1 metre high by 80 cms wide, and between 40 and 80 cms thick. It has one flat and one convex face. Like Pedra No. 1, it originally sat in the angle of a wall, but had to be moved 2 metres to allow for widening of the road and has been placed against a stone wall next to farm land (apologies for any errors in translation).
