larkwort visited on 2nd Feb 2022 - their rating: Cond: 4 Amb: 3 Access: 5 Just beside the road, at the intersection of Fen Road, Church Lane and Tuffen Lane.
Very easy to spot from the road, it is surrounded by a low latticed fence with a latch gate.
A small pool and a bucket hanging on the fence for use by visitors.
The spring arises in a small copse of bushes on the edge of a field. The well has recently been tidied up with a new fence erected around it. There as a number of small stones lying around which suggests a possible structure.
