I got this location slightly wrong in my post of 2012. This stone, which may or may not have been a conglomerate, was actually last against the back wall of Tower House (which used to be the Bull Inn), on the corner of High Street and Chapel Street, with an exact location of TL9928649436.

I visited the house in May, and the current owner told me that the stone is no longer there. However, she only moved in last November and said it's possible that the stone was still hidden somewhere in the garden, and would let me know if she discovered it.

Actually, this stone was never on the village green. It was moved from the middle of the market square in 1898 to the yard of the Bull Inn. The inn no longer exists, but by Rudge's description, the stone should be behind the house at the corner of Chapel Street and Duke Street.
