The most notable tomb in Confolens cemetery is that of Cécile Jeanne Marie CREVELIER, died April 29, 1884, wife of Jean Amédée Gontier, sub-prefect of Confolens. The tomb is composed of stones of the Dolmen of Périssac, d'Esse town, and a stone sarcophagus of Volvic, decorated with plant motifs and four fantastic animals.
