The original dolmen stood somewhere nearby, but the stones were broken up and moved '10s of metres' to this location c1900. There's no footpath, so you have to walk up the side of a field to reach them.

Re: La Pierre Plate by Anonymous on Sunday, 02 December 2018
We've just managed to locate the Pierre Plate in the commune of Teyjat, Dordogne. The IGN map confusingly places the label 110m north of the actual site I found an alternative location suggested by http://www.teyjat-perigord.fr/crbst_10.html and have found that this is correct. The precise location is:
45 36 06.90 N 0 34 45.18 E (east of the Braugnac-Soudat road and south of the D92).
The original dolmen stood somewhere nearby, but the stones were broken up and moved '10s of metres' to this location c1900. There's no footpath, so you have to walk up the side of a field to reach them. I've looked the location up on the cadastral plan https://www.geoportail.gouv.fr/carte and it's at the SE corner of plot 194.

The stones are delightfully mossy, so there's no sign of the mysterious circle decoration noted by A. de Roumejoux,1877 (bibliothèque de Périgueux).
