"'The Lady's Well', spring head and memorial. C18 or early C19. Sandstone ashlar with heavy slate roof. Paved surround to small square building, with 3 open arched sides, the moulded and keyed arches on imposts carried across the piers.

"'The Lady's Well', spring head and memorial. C18 or early C19. Sandstone ashlar with heavy slate roof. Paved surround to small square building, with 3 open arched sides, the moulded and keyed arches on imposts carried across the piers. Gabled roof with raised ridge. The spring rises up onto a platform within the building, and into a semi-circular basin at its foot. Inscription in gable on attached plaque recording the creation of the surrounding water garden in 1964 as memorial to Eileen Bickerstaff, Headmistress of Bedgebury School."
