Holy Well or Sacred Spring in Suffolk

Here in what was the private rectory gardens is a site called the Holy Well. It was once on the road side. The well arises in a brick hood which is a foot deep and never said to fail. Tradition states that pilgrims used it on their way to Bury. Very little is known of it other than this, although the church has a rare Saxon cross.
