I went back today armed with the Ordnance Survey app, and went to the precise location indicated on that, but still found no sign.

Thanks for trying Anon. How odd, the Ordnance Survey co-ordinates should be correct.
Is the park managed by the County Council? If so, their land ownership and management section should have details of the mound.

As luck would have it I have a (paper) report on my desk from Orpington & Dist Archaeological Society that they sent following my talk a couple of months ago:

The Upper Cray Valley 4000 - 700BC from 'The Upper Cray Valley Project' 1993

Most of it is details of find spots of flint scatters and axes but there is a map and it looks like they do have this site listed:

      Bronze Age:
      2. Chislehurst Common TQ 441 703 ?Hut / ?Round Barrow
      Ref: Kentish Times 27.07.1935

That's all it says. Note this is 100m out from what we have at TQ 441 702 but it sounds like the same site. There is nothing else listed in the immediate area.

These map refs are only accurate to 100m squares so the site could be anywhere in that area.
Some photos of what's there in the area would be great.
      Thanks

From the link above on pur page this is the LIDAR scan of the area:

Re: Mound Chislehurst by Anonymous on Monday, 19 April 2021
I went to the precise coordinates using the satnav on my phone, which took me to the north side of the large pond on the common, but as far as I could see the ground in all directions was fairly level.
