Standing Stone (Menhir) in Møre og Romsdal
On the island of Vigra on a outcrop into the sea is a pretty standing stone. It is around 2 metres in height and about 20-30cm wide. It has a square cross-section and smooth sides. It is tilting a little to one side. Around the site are a number of smaller barrows and flat-ground burials.
The stone is in a field of grass overlooking the sea, from its position it is a great view over the sea! Some grazing sheep are scattered around in the terrain.
