Native American Pictographs / Cave wall paintings

The Big Moniteau Rock Art Site is situated approximately 4 miles SW (downstream) of Rocheport along the KATY trail. Also called the refer to the site as the Torbett Spring-Rocheport site (Diaz-Granados and Duncan - 2000:Figure 2.3). The GPS coordinates for the site are North 38 degrees 56.252 minutes and West 92 degrees 30.654 minutes. The first report of this site was published by Charles Teubner in 1881.
