This site was discovered by Bill Lawrence in 1967 while exploring the woods near his grandfather's hunting cabin in St. Louis County, northern Minnesota, USA. It is a stone structure that is approximately 5 feet long, 3.5 feet wide with about 1.5 feet visible height.

There is an opening in the structure and stone decoration. It appears the chamber could secure a cache of some material such as powder, pelts, currency, liquor, etc.. Due to the shape of the stones surrounding the structure, another theory was that it may have been in the center of a semi permament lodging.

The site is located approximately 800 yards north from a portage and campground on Lake Mukooda, Minnesota. The site is approximately 1.5 miles from a trading post that is located across a bay in Canada.

Location is for Lake Mukooda.
