Park Standing Stone
Park Standing Stone submitted by frogcottage42 : Looking SW the shallow bowl of the Rath can be seen and the snow capped Carauntuohill and Reeks in the distance. (Vote or comment on this photo)
This is a fairly unremarkable standing stone however it stands on the NE edge of what appears to be a ploughed out ring fort (rath).

The low mound of the Rath is around 30m in dia. and is an almost perfect circle approx. 1m higher than the surrounding field.
Situated at the end of a small road in a busy farm it is lucky to have survived in great condition.
