Ruins of Maya city of Cahal Pech are located not far from San Ignacio in Belize. The site consists of over 30 structures, dated mostly for Pre-Classic and Classic period, however traces of first settlement are dated for 2nd millennium BC. The most significant structures are 25 m high pyramid and a ball-court.
Near the site there's a small museum.
