Three mounds total are housed in Waukesha city park, Wisconsin. The mounds are degraded but still visible. The historical marker reads, "This and the two adjacent mounds were built for burials probably by the prehistoric Woodland Indians. They perhaps began entering Wisconsin about 2000 BC and lived here until modern times.

The Potawatomi who left Waukesha in 1886 were never mound-builders. Waukesha County once had 411 mounds and the city 55 on 11 sites. This mound was excavated in 1850. Beneath ground level were found decayed fragments of a human skeleton with head to the west, decorative pipes and pieces of shell and pottery."

Another marker installed below the main marker reads, "Prehistoric Mounds marked May 26 - 1906 by the Women's Club Waukesha."

Cutler Mound Group submitted by AKFisher : Cutler Mound in the late 1800s. Today the site is in a park in Waukesha, Wisconsin where 3 conical burial mounds are located. Excavations showed a large stone slab tomb had been made into the ground prior to the mound being constructed over it.
