Coba'
Coba' submitted by davidmorgan : Nohoch Mul, the main pyramid at Coba, is 42 metres tall. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Ancient City in Mexico. A large Maya city, inhabited from around 100 CE and growing to a population of 50,000 during the Classic Period (600 - 900 CE). It covers an area of 80 sq. km.

They know its name from the glyphs on a stele embedded in one of the ball-courts. Today you can visit the 3 main groups of buildings by rented bicycle.
