Artificial Mound in Costa Rica

One of the earliest Costa Rican archaeological sites to be excavated. A circular mound with a ramp to the south contained several graves, with larger numbers in the surrounding area. The western side of the mound has been damaged by a tramway and by treasure-seekers.
