Hot Springs (North Carolina)
Hot Springs (North Carolina) submitted by TimPrevett : The thermal springs originally discovered by the indigenous peoples are still in use today with open air but undercover tubs available to bathe in on a commercial basis. This is right next to the river, with hills all around. It's a great experience, and your pores and skin feel fantastic after an hour in the warm mineral rich water. (Vote or comment on this photo)

A place where time stops and an Ancient Megalith Stands with an Oak Growing through it with the Milky Way above you when the Summer Solstice & Winter Equinox aligns with it twice a year and you can Travel Like the Ancients through the Portal.

"thermally heated water". Isn't that true of all water, how else can it be heated if not by some thermal process?
