Rock Art in Cuba. Pictograms and two tool sites have been found on the mountain. Among the discoveries are majadores for food preparation, as well as many food remains.
Guajaibón (the highest peak in the Guaniguanico range; around 700 meters high) is crossed with cavern systems that were used as camp sites for the indigenous Paleo-Indian groups.
Note: Speleologists find Pre-Contact Rock Art in Cuba.
