Firewhorl visited on 12th Apr 2014 - their rating: Cond: 5 Amb: 5 Access: 5 An amazing Castro (Celtic Hill Fort/Settlement) situated on the top of a mountain, at an altitude of 200m, with stunning views of the coastline. Discovered by accident in 1913 during construction of the road which goes to the mountaintop, only half of the settlement has apparently been excavated. The site was occupied from the late Bronze Age until the 1st Century CE, and has a large collection of circular dwellings and narrow streets. Later Roman Influence can be seen in some square shaped buildings.

My visit to Castro de Santa Tegra inspired me to make this video on the mystical music of Dark Sine.
A small part of the steep hill is excavated. It was occupied at least 2000BC (celtic origin) until 200AC by Romans. With many findings from all over the world.
