Modern dolmen created in the Parque de Bens, to the west of the city of A Coruña.

The Parque de Bens was developed by the City Council with the collaboration of the European Union and the State; born out of solidarity and the defense of the environment, after the city's landfill site here collapsed with tragic consequenses.

In the Bens Park, the residents of A Coruña and its visitors can now walk and discover new views of the city, the Ártabro Gulf or the open sea, views that had been lost for years. In this way also the look has recovered.

On June 5, 2001, less than five years after the collapse of the old dump, and coinciding with the World Environment Day, the space was inaugurated. The day of its opening were more than 30,000 people from A Coruña, invited personally, who came here to welcome the city to this new green space, which still has many years to develop.
