Portal Tomb in Co. Clare

Island with Christianised prehistoric sites. The chapel is built around what is probably a portal tomb. There are various earthworks on the island, seven bullan stones (3 marked on the photo) and a holy well.

In fairness I don't think this was built around a portal tomb. Excavations of the "confessional" do not suggest any neolithic or bronze age dating for this structure.
Personally I'd like to be disproved as its a place that I really enjoy visiting.
