Hillfort in Amazonas, Peru.This site is described as a citadel, dating to the Inca period or earlier. The site was discovered by rangers on routine patrol of Cajaruro district of the Cordillera de Colan natural sanctuary.
Carved stone artifacts and an embossed metal shield have been found. Note: The location given is general for the Cordillera de Colan natural sanctuary.
