Modern Stone Arrangement in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
This modern stone 'oval' focuses on an outdoor amphitheater in a public park. The project was conceived of by Cory Wanamaker as a practicum in volunteer community art.
All stones were donated by the public and each one was numbered and cataloged to preserve the "story" of that particular stone. The size of the stones varies from the truly megalithic to ones not much bigger than a grapefruit.

A website associated with the project can be found here at a Goddard College web address.

An anonymous visitor to the portal posted the following and the website, which allowed me to find the stones.

I live in a small town in Pennsylvania which is home to a very unique student art project involving the placement of megaliths in a oval/circular pattern. ...

Surprising the locals really don't pay very much head to this site. It is located in a small wooden grove across a creek that is spanned by a old covered wooden bridge.

Note: Charming Stone Circle Built from "personal" stones.
