Ancient Village or Settlement in Magdalena, Colombia.
The ruined site of a Tayrona culture village, estimated to have been occupied from 400 - 1600 AD, is a half day walk from the coast. Stone walkways and water channels and circular raised building platforms and terraces hug the hillside above a river.

Several huts have been built on site for interpretation. The site lies within Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona. A museum and interpretive center, Chayrama, located in the northeastern area of the park. The site was excavated in the 1920's by Chicago's Field Museum, and has been more recently surveyed by Santiago G, University of Chicago.

From the park website, its difficult to tell how long it takes to reach this site:

"One of the most visited attractions of the Park is undoubtedly Pueblito, an archaeological jewel in which are vestiges of the ancient Tayrona civilization. To get to this place you can follow two trails: one from Cabo San Juan del Guía, which lasts 45 minutes and another from El Calabazo for approximately two and a half hours."
"The Park has the following trails: ..... 3. The paved road to Pueblito from Cabo San Juan del Guía (high difficulty, 3 hours). 4. Calabazo Trail - Pueblito - Cabo San Juan del Guía (high difficulty, 4 hours)."
