Stone Fort in Peru.

Puca Pucara ("Red Fort", called like that as in certain hours of the day it's walls seem to be red) is one of the Inca sites located on the way from Cusco to Pisac. Archaeologists believe that it played solely military function. The fort, enclosed with a rectangular wall, was provided with water by rock-cut aqueducts.

The site is easy to reach, it's perfectly visible from the road Cusco - Pisac, 8 km from Cusco.

I believe that there are also theories that this may have served as a tambo, or travelers stop, on the road into Cusco.
