Anta de Corte Gafo is situated in the beautifull hills near or in the Parque Natural do Vale do Guadiana, north of Mertola. Park your car next to the paved road towards Amendoeira and walk the gravel road. It is situated on private land but has open access.
We could not find any information about this Anta.
It has 7 standing stones but the cover stone has disappeared. A pole of the fence is placed in the Anta and it has 'no room to breath'. This Anta has no official status just as its neighbour, Anta das Pias.
