Standing Stone (Menhir) in Galicia

A standing stone, previously used as a marker stone at the limit between the Municipios of Xunqueiria, Vilar de Bario and Sarreous, then disused and forgotten. Re-discovered in 1975 by a farmer when ploughing the field, it was re-erected in 1986 on a concrete slab along the road OU-0110.
Height : 3,50 m.
Easy access by car.
Abundant literature (in Spanish).
On the stone are engraved a cross and inscriptions dated to around the 10 c. but difficult to decipher.
