markj99 visited on 3rd Jul 2011 - their rating: Cond: 2 Amb: 4 Access: 2 I wasn't convinced about the stone circle interpretation: stone circles are usually erected on flat ground. If it was a cairn where did all the stones go? The two standing stones are ill-matched. Callanish VI is a difficult site to interpret.

Remains of a Stone Circle in Lewis

Might be a ruined stone circle, only 2 of them, tall white one and small gray one on the opposite side, stand like shoot-outing gunfighters. The 2 gangsters on a hill can be seen from far distance. The area around this hill is a wet peaty bog, you should put on boots to visit this site.
