Broch or Nuraghe in Isle of Skye
Rubh' an Dunain is an Iron Age promontory semi-broch, consisting of a substantial curved wall over 3 metres tall which effectively isolates a small promontory which is defended on all other sides by vertical cliffs. There is a vast amount of descriptive and structural information about this site at Canmore Site ID 11021. Now classified by Canmore as a 'semi-broch, see their latest report starting 'Publication Account (2007)' onwards, under the 'Activities' heading.
