Remnants of a ruined stone circle near to the southern end of Loch Frisa on the Isle of Mull.

The circle would have had a diameter of approx. 33m - 40m with 4 surviving stones from an original estimated 11 to 14. The stones range in height from 0.95m to 2.2m.

Canmore site no. 22266.

Tenga (Mull) White tailed fish eagle
Tenga (Mull) White tailed fish eagle submitted by Energyman : We disturbed this eagle walking to Tenga stone circle, Isle of Mull, as it was trying to eat its rabbit lunch. It flew round us for 10 minutes, continually swooping on the corpse, but loosing its nerve at the last moment. (3 comments - Vote or comment on this photo)

Yes, the Canmore link states NM 5038 4632 which returns 56.542359 and -6.062237 which is very close to the meg port position, which I agreed with when I was there.

Tom, I don't recognise your picture of Tenga stone circle (the main one at top). The circle I went to is wholly on a marshy plain. Where are these rocks?
