Popped out to look at the reported stone circle as we stay at Balmeanach, just 400 yards away. This feature appears to be a hut circle, and can be seen quite clearly on google maps. There are stones making a semicircle, but this does not appear to be a stone circle. It is an old hut circle - still worthy of merit. There are several other hut circles nearby.

    Thanks Ralph, please could you take some photos for us. And if possible any other sites on Raasay - we only have one photo from the whole island! Have a good trip. [Correction, I've just found photos of three more Raasay sites on Geograph, they weren't there last time I looked a couple of years ago. None of the possible stone rows which sound interesting...]
