A passage tomb comprising a cairn kerb forming an almost complete oval 19.5m at its widest point. The chamber is 1.8m long x 1.15m wide
A nice site, easily accessed, situated along the beautiful County Antrim coast Road. The only downside is it sits in the shadow of an old RAF listening post, which is comprised of outbuildings and a large radio mast. Most of the kerb stones remain as do some of the orthostats of the central chamber, though the covering mound has all but disappeared. For directions: exit Ballycastle onto the coast road heading towards Cushendun, take a left turn for Torr Head, you will see outbuildings and a radio mast on your left. Park your car at the gate and proceed on foot along the path, follow it behind the buildings into the middle of the field at the back.
