Stone Row / Alignment in Isle of Mull

Closely associated with the adjacent stone circle and the nearby standing stone, (see 'nearby sites' below) this alignment is featured on the Stone Rows of Great Britain website - see their entry for Loch Buie.

The SRoGB entry includes a description of this single stone row, which runs for 115m and includes three large upright orthostats. They include a plan of the row taken from a survey carried out in June 2016, photographs of the row (showing its proximity, and relationship, to the stone circle, plus access information and a list of online resources for more information.

The row is also recorded as three separate outliers on Canmore ID 22385, Canmore ID 22386 and Canmore ID 22389 and scheduled as West of Scotland Archaeology Service Pin 721, Pin 722 and Pin 725.

The SRoGB notes that the "stone row leads to a point 4.6m away from the stone circle" and includes photographs which illustrate the visual links of the row to the landscape.
