This site is a duplication of Ru Ardvale on South Uist. I have checked the reference given by Burl and the description relates to Ru Ardvale. I would suggest that this entry is removed from the Portal once my findings have been confirmed.

Thanks Sandy, we have it listed as Ru Ardvule - do you know which is correct and where the name comes from - I can't see this name on Canmore?

Good point Andy. Perhaps the best thing to do would be to rename it to SLIGEANACH KILDONAN. This is the name given by the Western Isles HER. I see it was called Ru Ardvule in 1977 but before this and recently it has been called Sligeanach.

I like your Dubious, uncertain and unlikely stone rows, Sandy. I see this site still needs to be corrected.

I've renamed to Sligeanach Kildonan for now. I see it is currently quite far out to sea so the location is almost certainly wrong. This does suggest it's probably a duplicate in the wrong location.

I wonder how we should indicate Sandy's 'dubious' rows - adding comments seems best as an initial marker.
