This small stone, only about 3ft high, was the start of Dr J Havelock Fidler’s investigation of the alignments in Wester Ross described in his book Earth Energy (Aquarian Press 1988). It was fallen when he found it and he put it back upright. It has fallen again since and has been more recently re-erected. Pictured in 1991.
Its current state is unknown. On what, in 1991, was the eastern face of the stone I measured an area of magnetism about 18ins from the base.
ED NOTE: This is an uncertain site and is potentially not a prehistoric standing stone. It's not recognised by the Canmore archaeological sites database.
