Henge in Highlands.Discovered in 1972, in a pasture close to the SE shore of Loch Duich. The site has been much damaged by grazing horses, but the ditch and banks are still visible. The ditch is some 3 to 6 feet wide; the area enclosed by the ditch is some 26 feet in diameter. There are traces of an entrance causeway to the west, and possibly another entrance to the east.

The site has extensive views down Loch Duich to the NW and the position of the midsummer sunset (c 319°), and to the Five Sisters of Kintail to the East.

See Canmore NG91NW 3.
