Barcaldine

Pair of Standing Stones in Argyll. Although both erect only one of the stones is in situ the other having been propped against the first after being moved from its original position to facilitate cultivation. The 1.7m tall undisturbed stone is rectangular in profile with a breadth of 0.85m and a thickness of 0.2m. Ithas a pointed top and is aligned NNW-SSE. The second stone is 1.6m tall, 0.6m broad and 0.3m thick and tapers to a point on its north side.
